Summer Yoga ClassesCommunity ProgramsYoga Classes with Miranda Badolato With a doctorate in nutritional sciences and an undergraduate degree in exercise science, certified yoga instructor, Miranda Badolato guides new and experienced students to use movement, poses, and breathwork as tools to enhance wellness and improve longevity. Bring a yoga mat and a sturdy blanket or bolster. Chairs and a limited supply of props such as yoga blocks and straps are available to borrow. Open to ages 16 and up. Miranda's classes are rooted in Iyengar-style Yoga, which focuses on alignment, the use of props, and purposeful progression through poses. Each class starts with centering and breathwork to prepare for a mindful progression throughout the practice. Poses are intentionally chosen to prepare the body for alignment in the class's main asana, or what others may call the "peak pose" or "focus pose." As the practice builds heat through vinyasa, Miranda weaves in poses that support longevity, like squatting, and stability, like core work — all with attention to muscular engagement and anatomical detail. The class concludes with savasana, allowing time to re-center, restore, and connect inwardly. Restorative yoga classes are soothing and slow-paced. Supportive props like blankets, bolsters, and blocks are used to enhance passive stretching, allowing for deep rest. Restorative class sessions are 90 minutes and offered as one-time experiences. Participants are encouraged to dress cozy and to bring an extra blanket and personal props like a pillow or cushion. A limited supply of yoga blocks, mats and straps are available to borrow. Please note, the MSDR9 employee discount on class registrations cannot be combined with the 60+ discount.Summer 2026
