Step onto the range and discover the precision of the National Archery School Program (NASP)! Following the foundational training guidelines of NASP, certified instructor Coach Preston Steinhoff facilitates day-long archery camp classes designed specifically for 5th grade students to master the mechanics of the compound bow. Whether they are picking up a bow for the first time or looking to perfect their grouping, this camp builds the mental focus and physical discipline required to build confidence and connect an arrow with a target. Equipment is provided and includes: NASP Original Genesis Bow Easton 1820 Arrows Feradyne 34” Block Target Because archery requires focus, high levels of discipline, and specific equipment handling any student unable to follow range safety commands will be asked to step back from the line to ensure the safety of the entire group.

Cursive writing classes will reveal the mystery of "fancy writing" to participants by helping them identify the cursive alphabet, practice writing repeatable letter shapes and eventually connecting letters to write words. Registration is open to students in grades 3-5. A comprehensive workbook and practice writing exercises will be provided. Students should bring their own pencils.

With instruction from Mrs. Skokovic, students enjoy a variety of sports and exercise through clinics, games, activities and play. The experiences guarantee to increase their heart rate and encourage positivity and teamwork! Students do not need any supplies, but a water bottle and sneakers are recommended.

Community Education's Skyhawk Sports Academy provides skill-based sports programs where children can discover and develop athletic skills and social values such as teamwork, respect and sportsmanship. Programs are designed to give each child a positive experience in sports and foster a thirst for an active, healthy lifestyle and love of the game.
